It's pretty great since you get the salary that you would get if you worked in an office. In today's world it's important that there are two incomes coming in. The cost of living is higher than ever and this makes it harder for there to be stay at home mothers. This billing and coding career offer's you the ability to stay at home and still make an income.

I myself have tried the many data entry at home jobs, it was really hard to do the amount of work that was needed just to make a couple hundred dollars a week. I felt as if I was on the computer typing day in and day out. It was so frustrating. And I just couldn't take it anymore, and that's when I discovered through a friend of my mother's that you can work from home doing medical billing and coding. So I stopped doing the data entry work and signed up for an online school. It was easy since I was able to work at my own pace. The first semester of the school I only took the required courses, but the next semester I took on a little more so that I could finish faster. After I completed my courses in only 6 months, I then took the national exam and got my certificate. I was really proud when I quickly got a phone call to work from home with a local physician.

It's now been 4 years and I am still working from my home for the same doctor and I wouldn't change it for the world.
