At the end of the courses you will need to take some of the national exams, such as Certified Coding Associate, the Certified Professional Coder-Apprentice or Hospital Apprentice exam. I took two of the three so that I could be given a better opportunity to get a job. Although the employment opportunities for this field are in high demand that you should have no problem finding a job. But I like to play things safe. If you have the time you can go for your associates degree in coding with generally takes two years to complete.
